Overview

Seneca Health Services, Inc. (Seneca) provides community-based behavioral health services to adults and children/adolescents with a mental illness, a developmental disability or a substance abuse problem. Seneca strives to improve the quality of life of the target population(s) in Nicholas, Pocahontas, Greenbrier, Webster Counties, and Clay counties of West Virginia. Seneca is dedicated to providing accessible, available, acceptable and affordable services to its constituents.

Seneca employs a number of professional and paraprofessional staff including psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed professional counselors, social workers, therapists, nurses and other staff. We serve over 3,000 consumers annually.

Service categories include outpatient, case management, therapy, residential, day habilitation/treatment, crisis, and socialization and general support. Seneca also offers specialty services to targeted populations such as Driving Under the Influence (DUI) education and counseling and Public Inebriate Shelters for the substance abuse population. Specialized Medicaid Waiver program constitute a significant element of service within the agency.
